About Texas Country Farm Supply
Texas Country Farm Supply is family-owned and operated right here in East Texas. The original feed store, founded by Bo Pilgrim of Pilgrim's Pride Corp, provided local farmers and ranchers products and services they needed to support their livelihood so that they would not have to travel to adjoining towns to obtain them. Originally, one of the products provided was a live and fully feathered frying chicken sold to local housewives, usually on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Pilgrim said "I grew these chickens in a pen behind the store. When these little old ladies would come by to pick one for Sunday lunch, they never picked one close by but rather one that was always at the far end of the pen."
TCFS took ownership on November 1, 2010. "We believe in offering quality products at competitive prices while providing outstanding customer service." said co-owner, Frankie King. On October 1, 2011 TCFS moved to its current location on Highway 271 in Pittsburg. A visit to this new location will certainly prove our motto of being "More Than Just a Feed Store!" Not only will you find a greatly expanded line of products and a wide variety of livestock feeds, but you will find offerings in many different categories including, pet supplies, bird seeds and feeders, tack, animal health products, hardware, garden supplies and seeds, bedding plants, fertilizers, and yard care supplies.
